Happy Hello

Good morning, Samantha here with a cheerful under the sea card for you. I created a simple scene using a variety of Lawn Fawn Products. The sea was created with layers of multiple pattern papers and colored vellum. I tucked the kraken under a portion of the vellum to create dimension. Transparent enamel dots were attached to the top of the vellum to create a bubbly sea. Orange pattern paper was used for the "hello" sentiment from the "Yay Kites- Lawn Cuts". The sentiment had to be cut down slightly so it did not overlap the kraken.

The bunnies are enjoying the sunshine while the chick is carefully trying to balance on an Easter egg. I used a combination of Lawn Fawn die-cuts to create my springtime setting. Different simple pattern papers were used to tie all the elements together.

Wintertime in the Woods

Hey everyone! Samantha here with a fun winter themed card for you. I created a critter filled scene in a woodsy setting. I really wanted to create a scene filled with dimension and different textures. I started my card off by glueing my pattern paper to the base of my card. I colored, cut, and adhered the trees to the pattern paper. The snowy ground was cut from a piece of white cardstock. I colored my little critters and layered them on top of the snow. Glittery snow was layered on top of the animals to create depth. Wood veneer snowflakes were added in the sky. Layered on top of each wood snowflake is a smaller white snowflake and a clear rhinestone. Glittery Gold single cord was wrapped around the card and tied into a bow to add the last layer.

Sweet Treats

Hey everyone, Samantha here! I have a very sweet card to share with you today. These dogs are up to some mischief when their owners are away. With strategic planning and teamwork they were able to snatch the cookie jar off the counter. These cookies are made with carob chips instead of chocolate chips, so no upset tummies here! Hopefully they will get rid of the evidence before their owners return.

I used a variety of Lawn Fawn supplies to create my scene. The dogs are from the "Critters at the Dog Park" stamp set. The cookies and jar are from the "Milk and Cookies" stamp set. "Sweater Weather" and "Let's Polka" petite paper packs where used to create my background.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Summertime Fun

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a fun summertime card. This little narwal is happily floating in the sea with the help of his giraffe inner tube. The balloons are the sails in this makeshift boat, and are guiding his way. I layered purple vellum on top of pattern paper to create water. The waves were created by using a border edge punch. I added sheer polka dot ribbon for added texture.

Crabby Card

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a fun summertime card inspired by the latest Lawnscaping watercoloring challenge. If you haven't made a project already for this challenge, you definitely need to! There are so many different products and watercoloring techniques, you are bound to have fun making your project. I put Distress Inks on an acrylic block, and then applied the ink to my paint brush that was saturated in water.

I love the Lawn Fawn "Life is Good" stamp set, there are tons of different beach items that allow you to build a perfect scene. The crab is so adorable, and he fits perfectly into the hammock. I thought it would be fun to place him in the hammock with his legs dangling off the side. The clouds, from the "Into the Woods" stamp set, were stamped in white ink on top of the watercolored sunset sky. I tied "Pink Lemonade Single Cord" around the bottom of the frame from the "Say Cheese" stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a great day!

Happy Wishes

Hey everyone Samantha here! I was inspired by the current Lawnscaping Challenge which is creating a project with a distress look. Adding a distress look to projects is so much fun. You can layer and combine a variety of products to create a unique look. For my card I used distress inks, stencils, and spray inks.

The lanterns, from the "Lunar Lights" stamp set, really pop on the vibrant background. I stamped the string and sentiment directly on my "Stitched Journaling Card" then added the lanterns that I stamped, colored, and cut out from a separate sheet of paper. The star of the card is the panda. I had so much fun making it. The panda is the bear from the "Critters in the Snow" stamp set. I followed the contours of the panda body and outlined the areas I wanted black. I then colored in the black areas, it was so much fun to watch the transformation of the bear!

I had so much fun creating this card, thanks for stopping by!

Happy Camper

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a super cute camping card! Spring has finally arrived which means it's finally time to go outside and explore the great outdoors. Camping is a perfect activity to enjoy nature.

I LOVE the papers in the "Let's Polka" petite paper pack. The colorful papers have simple patterns that can be easily mixed and matched together. I used the "Happy Trails" stamp set to create the outdoor scene. The Sasquatch, from the "Yeti Set Go" stamp set, is photobombing this camping photo.  The "Yeti Set Go" stamp set is one of my all time favorite Lawn Fawn sets. The yeti is just adorable, and I thought he would make a perfect Sasquatch. I tied the "Gold Sparkle" lawn trimmings around the photo frame, from the "Say Cheese" stamp set, to add a little texture and sparkle. I also used thin foam tape strips under the frame for added dimension. This card was so much fun to make! Thank you so much for stopping by I hope you have a great day!

Happy Birthday!

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a super fun birthday card! I recently purchased some products from the last Lawn Fawn release, and I just had to use them right away.

The "Year Four" stamp set coordinates perfectly with the "Birthday Tag" stamp set. The proportions allow you to create a mini birthday scene within the tag. I also love that the "Birthday Tag" stamp set works perfectly with the "Tag You're It" craft die. I hand die cut my stamped tag, and then layered it on top of a kraft tag. I adhered the layered tag on top of a fun pattern paper from the "Into the Woods" petite paper pack. Under the pattern paper is a strip of washi tape. I used a cute star border punch on the bottom of the card. Polka dot pattern paper was placed behind the stars to coordinate with the birthday theme. Twine and star embellishments were added to create additional texture and dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Into The Woods

Good Morning, Samantha here from the Lawnscaping Inspiration Team! I am very eager for spring to come, this long winter has been pretty snowy and chilly. Since I can't experience nice weather yet, I decided to create a fun outdoor scene that reminds me of warmer temperatures.

The fawn, from the Into the Woods stamp set, is very busy exploring the landscape around her. The mushrooms and pine tree is from the Critters in the Forest stamp set. I love all of the animal stamps, they are so adorable and you can mix and match the different sets!  I used papers from the Into the Woods petite paper pack. I love how all of the different papers blend so well together. I layered and pieced different pattern papers to create a fun landscape. I finished off my card with some red and white twine and dark red rhinestones.

I really enjoyed making this card. Lawn Fawn products are always fun to work with, and I love that stamp sets and papers always work together so nicely. Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!

A Magical Birthday

Hey everyone, Samantha here! Today I have a sweet birthday card to share with you. I really thought it would be fun to create a magical birthday card using the "Critters Ever After" stamp set. If you don't have this stamp set yet, you need it because it is absolutely adorable.

It is the frogs birthday and his friends threw him a special party! His dragon friend has lit the candles for him, and he is now ready to make his wish. The cake is from the "Year Three" stamp set, and I love that  this stamp set allows you to add as many candles as you want to the cake. The magical background of clouds and stars is from the "Blue Skies" stamp set.

My favorite thing about Lawn Fawn stamps is you are able to use stamps from multiple stamp sets and the stamps are in proportion with each other. You really can create fun scenes by mixing and matching different sets!

I really enjoyed creating this card, and I hope you liked it too! Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Sweet Christmas

Happy Thursday! Samantha here from the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration Team! I have created a "sweet" Christmas card using a mixture of Lawn Fawn supplies. Many people have holiday traditions of baking cookies and/or scrumptious treats. These little gingerbread men are having so much fun baking and sharing their freshly made cookies.

The oven they are using to make their cookies is from the "Plus One" stamp set. I masked out the bun that was inside the oven. I then stamped, die cut, and glued the cookies inside it. The cookies are from the "Cozy Christmas" stamp set. The gingerbread cookies and the "Have a Sweet Christmas" sentiment are from the "Sweet Christmas" stamp set.

I must share one of my new favorite Lawn Fawn products. The Lawn Cuts "Stitched Journaling Card" dies are awesome! Not only do you get the adorable journaling card with stitching, there is a fun flag shape too. I stamped my sentiment inside the flag shape! There are hearts, arrows, stars, and banner shapes that are also in "Stitched Journaling Card" that you can use to decorate your projects!

I had so much fun making this card! Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!
