Waving Hello from Under the Sea

Hi!
Samantha here, and today I'm sharing an adorable little card featuring one of the mermaids from the new Mermaid for You stamp set!

Oh I just love how it came out!
I colored the images with Distress Markers and then fussy cut them out! I added some dot details by dotting in areas with the marker I had watercolored with, as well as a shade darker and a white gel pen! I have to say, I'm totally smitten with that for underwater critters - it looks like they're shimmering under the water!!! I may have colored about...50 other water images like this...ha!

I created the backgound with Ken Oliver Color Bursts and then sprayed water along the edges of the color, so it would really soften them up - totally in LOVE with that look!

I finished the card with a little Spectrum Noir glitter pen in clear on the crown and sea horse fins! :)

Thanks for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
Hope this card made you smile and inspired you to get watercoloring!

Donut Disturb!

Hello!
Samantha here with you again, and today I'm sharing a cute little card in the theme of the challenge that just ended! It was all about sweets! And this card popped in my brain and I just HAD to make it! Have you ever had an idea hit you like that? I just couldn't rest until I made it! :)

So let's get on to the card!

I colored the images from Donut Worry, Starry Backdrops and Life is Good with copics and then fussy cut them out!
The background was easy to create! All I used was some Distress Inks, mist and a old, recycled piece of packaging! I smooshed the ink pad directly onto the piece of packaging, spritzed it with water, and then pressed the packaging piece onto the cardstock!

Isn't this so cute!! I think it's the perfect little card to send to someone! Either just because (my specialty!!) or maybe you have someone watching your house/pets while you're on vacation! :)

Be sure to check back here on Monday for the brand new Lawnscaping Challenge that will start! Can't wait to see you there!

Boo to YOU!

Morning Lawnscaping friends!!

This is Angel here sharing a card using some of my favorite Lawn Fawn products to make an adorable Halloween card. I know, I know.... It's a few months away but it will be here before we know it so I thought I would get prepared.

I chose to use the adorable ghost from the set Spooktacular as my focal point.

I used distress ink in Dusty Concord, Black Soot and Pumice Stone to create the background using my mini ink blending tool. I cut a small strip of white paper to break up the colors and then added a strip of orange polka dotted paper from the Lawn Fawn Beachside Petite paper pack. I stamped the ghost in Memento jet black ink and die cut him with coordinating die. The sentiment was created using my Dymo label maker that has become my new favorite tool. I finished off the card using googly eyes on my ghost and adding sparkling clear sequins.

A simple card with a lot of fun thrown in. Hope you enjoyed and were inspired.

The current Lawnscaping Challenge is all about Back to School and there's still time to enter.

Have a great day!

You Color My World Rainbow Card

Hello everybody! Heidi here, I'm super excited to share with you my first post, as part of the Lawnscaping Challenge Facebook Inspiration Team!
We are currently having our Lawnscaping Challenge No. 110 "Color Inspired by the Rainbow" so I thought challenge was a perfect opportunity to play with sequins. back in July I made a card using a large number of affixed sequins, such as in this card, it is very fun and entertaining!
This challenge it's all about bright pretty colors, you still have time to enter, so get your favorite color markers, watercolors, or even sequins and join us! You can enter the challenge HERE

I created this card using the "Critters Ever After" the clouds border dies by Lawn Fawn and some awesome colorful sequins.

The sentiment for this card is from the "You color my world" mini stamp set by Lawn Fawn

I did some simple coloring with Copic markers on the unicorn, not much blending at all. and I adhered the panel to a white note card created with heavy weight white cardstock.

I hope you've enjoyed this card, and that you got inspired to join us on our current challenge, have a wonderful day!
