Give Thanks

Happy (almost) Thanksgiving!

It's Lizzy from the Facebook Inspiration Team.  I'm here today to share a quick, homespun themed Thanksgiving card.

I love that Lawn Fawn can be versatile-- it doesn't have to be all about critters (not to say I don't love my critters!).  I'm really loving the folk art look that has been popular lately and I tried to recreate that look with this card.  I used several images from the Peace Joy Love set as the building blocks.  I also thought the flower image from Summertime Charm had a nice folk art look to it, so I used that as well.  I then used a flower from Mother's Day and a snowflake (they can be flowers too!) from Peace Joy Love to fill in the card.  The sentiment is a combination of Milo's ABC's and Summertime Charm.  It was stamped in a crisp black ink to really make it pop from the muted background.  I finished the card by distressing the edges of the front panel with the Tim Holtz distress tool to really add to the homespun look.

This card would be so simple to recreate and would work as a great last-minute card for Thanksgiving!

Thank you for stopping by!  For those who are celebrating, I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
