Hi everyone! Kari here from the Lawnscaping Facebook Inspiration Team today
sharing with you a summery card featuring two sets from Lawn Fawn -
Here's the Scoop and Quinn's ABC's along with the matching dies! One of
my favorite crafty techniques to do is paper piece, and when you have
wonderful papers like the ones from the Bright Side Collection, it was
so fun to put together these popsicles! I stamped them in a row of
five across my Kraft card base and them stamped and cut out each
popsicle in a different color, and adhered them to the card base. Then,
I die cut my sentiment out of the dies from Quinn's ABC's and stamped
them with the coordinating stamps. I did some simple Copic coloring on
the first half of the sentiment, and then used another pattern from the
same pattern papers.
I actually had a card mess up and had to do "card - surgery" but I
think I salvaged it just fine. I initially forgot my "E" in You're"
after I had glued it down, but I carefully removed the original letters I
had down which was "SO" after "Your" and realized my "typo", and
proceeded to die cut my "E" and to cover up where I had "SO", I added
some embellies.
Don't you just hate it when you mess up....well, there is
usually a way to save your creations when things like this happen. I
hope you like this fun, bright, and "tasty" card!! Thanks for stopping
by, and don't forget to get your submission in for the current challenge!!
