Makes me think of snow. I just love the scene here with the little car pulling a cute trailer with a festive tree on top heading home to decorate it. Hey, I have an active imagination ;)

Deck the Halls

Hi, everybody! Suzanne here with a festive and fun card featuring Lawn Fawn's Deck the Halls stamps and Lawn Cuts dies!

With a simple trick, you can use the large pine branch that's part of the set to make a wreath. I just curved it slightly on the clear block before I stamped with it. Then, I stamped the branch over and over in a circle and used four different colors of green ink to make it look full.

I stamped the pine cones with watermark ink on kraft card stock, then heat embossed some copper powder on top. I die cut each pine cone with the coordinating metal die, using a piece of washi tape to keep the die in place as I ran it through the machine.

Here's my finished card:

The patterned papers on my card are from the Snow Day and Sweater Weather petite paper packs.

Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget, there's still time to play along in the current Lawnscaping challenge: White on White (monochromatic) before the new challenge starts on December 15!

Playing with Washi!

Hello Fawnies!

Melissa here today with a fun idea that serves two purposes: 1) mass produce cards and 2) playing with washi!

I have rolls of washi that I collect and adore and decided to bust out some Holiday colors and make some super fun and easy Holiday cards! *yes, yes, it's not all technically "washi" but just go with it!*

I picked different patterns and widths and just went for it! I placed them more to the left of the card to leave room for that adorable sentiment from the Lawn Fawn set, Let It Snow. I added the white stitching to the solid red washi as well as around the card. Rounded the bottom left corner to balance it all out and viola!

No fussy cutting, no embossing, no running out of embellishments! Mass production done quick and easy!

You have until the 14th to join in on our current challenge, Dust 'em Off! Simon Says Stamp is sponsoring this challenge so link up your creations!

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous week!
