Olive You

Good morning everyone! It's Roxanne up today with a cute little card for that special someone and what better way to make someone smile than with a pizza card?! Another set I've been wanting since I saw it, so I bought it and I couldn't wait to use it.

Ahhhhh! I can't stand the cuteness. Really. This set is so clever and has the funniest sentiments to use. Okay, so let's see more details of this card. I kept the layout simple to really showcase the cutie little pizza and sentiment/speech bubble.

I personally LOVE black olives on my pizzas, so that's why I used the OLIVE YOU sentiment and added some of those tasty black olives to my pizza.

I used the Post-It technique to stamp the box "behind" the acutal pizza image. Totally simple technique but very effective. I use the cheapy Post-It notes I get in the Target or Michael's dollar bins. Then I don't feel bad using them for this! (Let's be real, genuine Post-It brand notes are EXPENSIVE!)

I hope you enjoyed by little pizza inspired love card! There are lots of toppings to choose from for your projects. No matter how you slice it, it's cute. (I'm here all day!) Happy crafting.

Hello card + Video Tutorial

Hello!  It's Tracy here with a fun card using the Critters in the Arctic Stamp set and two Lawn Fawn dies.  The Critters sets are my favorite and work perfectly for the challenge theme this week!  Also, make sure to check out the video tutorial for this card below.

I used the Speech Bubble and Cole's ABC's dies along with the Let's Polka 6x6 paper pad to create the top part of the card.

I then stamped the moose and colored it in with Copic markers.  I added some clear sequins with Liquid Pearls in the center to complete my card.

Have a great day!

Post-it Note Holders using Plastic Frames

Hello everyone!  Kari from the Inspiration Team back with you to share a fun project!  You can get really creative with making these Post-it notes holders.

These are made from inexpensive plastic frames that you just slip a picture in on the side.  Instead of using the frame of how it was intended when standing up, the base of the frame is at the top when laid flat.

One is a 4x6 frame and the other is a 3.5x5 frame.  I just cut my pattern paper to size and slip it inside the frame like I would a picture. And, then the fun begins with decorating it how ever you choose.  I chose for my 4x6 frame papers from the Dewey Decimal 6x6 paper pad.  I also chose the stamp set Science of Love.
I adhered my Post-it notes to my frame with regular adhesive( I use PLUS adhesive).  I, then cut down a piece of Audrey Blue card stock from SSS and I used the Scalloped Stitched Border Dies, to give my card stock a bit of decoration.  I, then stamped out my sentiment from the same stamp set in HA Cup O' Joe ink. I also added some Coral Lawn Trimmings.

For my smaller frame - I did basically the same thing, except for my papers I used the Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad, and I used the Speech Bubble Border die as well as the Scripty Hello die.  I added some shimmer using the Wink of Stella Clear Brush Marker, and added faux stitching around the speech bubble die cut to make it stand out.

These would make fun gifts for teachers, friends, co-workers, or just because for anyone! They are easy to make and you could get your kids in on the fun!!

Thanks for stopping by today, and hope you are able to join us for our newest challenge going on now :)

See you soon!

My first Project Life page

Hello, it's Sabine from the Facebook Inspiration Team. I am totally excited that I get to share my first Project Life page ever finished here with you! I was not sure if it was good enough to share, but then I thought that there is no right or wrong for something as personal as a photo album. Right?! So here is my layout, I used a lot of Lawn Fawn and it was so much fun to create this.

A closeup of the title of the page using the scripty hello die and the speech bubble border die.

All the words were cut using Cole's ABCs and for the little pictures of my Louie I used the stitched journaling card die, also for the little stars.

Here I stamped the pumpkin from so thankful and I used the adorable new grassy border.

I really hope that you enjoyed a look into the first page of my Project Life album!

Hugs, Sabine
