You're A Legend with Christy

Hey friends! It's Christy here with another card I made for our current Sketch Challenge. Today is the last day to enter, so if you haven't already, hopefully this inspiration will push you over the edge! Did you know that sketches are open to interpretation? You can flip them upside down or on their side or swap out one shape for another.

For my card, I replaced the two diagonal stripes with a set of footprints from Lawn Fawn's Lovable Legends.  I used Doe ink to stamp them, and JalapeƱo and Noble Fir for the trees. I pulled out the old classic Bannerific to stamp my sentiment in, and colored Bigfoot with Copic markers. Distress Inks set the stage for the background panel and a little water splatter gave it some fun texture.

I hope you like it! Hurry up and post your own projects before the inlinkz closes tonight. Happy crafting!

Lawnscaping Challenge # 61

Hi there! Is it really July already?!?!?! This is the month where we start sharing even MORE inspiration with you - yay!!!!!!

We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp! The lucky winner will get a $25 giftcertificate

Simon Says Stamp

Our guest designer this month is the AMAZING Julie Ebersole!!!

Here is a little bit about her and her GORGEOUS project based on the sketch:
Once upon a time, I had no idea rubber stamps existed. *chuckle* Prior to staying home full-time with my children I was a high school Spanish teacher. My cousin first introduced me to stamping over 20 years ago by sending beautiful hand-made cards and is ultimately responsible for my full-blown addiction to the art form.
I have been fortunate to have many of my designs and several articles appear in popular trade publications, including Paper Crafts, Stamp It, Scrap & Stamp Arts, Stampington's Take Ten and Stamper's Sampler, Card Maker, Gift Maker (formerly Paper Works), and Cards magazines. Additionally, I've had the great privilege of serving as Design Team Coordinator for Splitcoaststampers.com from 2005-2008, and in creative/administrative capacities at A Muse Studio (formerly A Muse Artstamps) from 2003-2011.
In addition to designing, I thoroughly enjoy teaching others about this delightful art form and over the last two decades, I have taught many classes here in WA state and other parts of the country. I am especially excited to be offering classes ONLINE now (YAY!!!) through HOWnow, the educational division of ellenhutson.com
I am always tickled to meet so many people from around the globe who are just as crazy about the art of rubber stamping as I am--and cards are still my favorite thing to create!
Oh, and I do love a good appletini every now and then . . . *wink!*

Now, how about some DT inspiration to get you started?!?! Our three new DT members are joining us for the first time - yay!!! And remember to check out our Facebook page, where our brand new Facebook Inspiration Team will be sharing projects, too!
