Warm Wishes To You

Hello everyone..

Lexa here today with a Christmas card for this season. Let's get started!

I made this background using Argyle Backdrops in Lobster and Walnut, and it looks so pretty! I love how it turns. Then decided to take the color scheme for the rest of the card.

I started with a tag, watercolored the background and colored the border, then stamp the "warm wishes" sentiment with Lawn Fawn Walnut Dye Ink. I tied a single cord twine in red and white for an extra cuteness. ;)

The gingerbreads are from Sweet Christmas set, colored them with my Distress Ink Markers and diecut them. I set a glass of warm chocolate from Love You A Latte between them in mint color. At last, I think a border on the left side will be nice, so I die cut a brown cardstock with my medium size scalloped border, and red fish tail banner with some peppermint sweets stamped in it.

Oldies and Goodies

Hi everyone!

Lexa here today, I'm going to share the card I made using some Lawn Fawn oldies called Love n' Breakfast and mix it with Owen's ABC which is newer. I really love this old stamp set from Lawn Fawn, the popping toasts are really cute, it's been a while since the last time I used it.

 While I made this card I just realized that Lawn Fawn's dye inks colors match their petite paper pads.

For this card I match the "thanks" sentiment with the polkadot from Beachside pinted paper pad, Mermaid, Lobster, Deep Sea, Wild Rose, Fake Tan, Fish Tank. And I'm so happy to find out that!

Or maybe some of you already knew it. Hehehe. :)

I love to keep the white background to pop out the sentiment which is already colorful.

I dies out the tiny hearts using pink foam sheet for some dimension.

I hope you enjoy today's card and thinking to clean up your stash while try to use some Lawn Fawn oldies stamp sets, I believe they are not less cute than new ones. Heehee.

Tied The Knot

Hi everyone.

Lexa here today, I'm going to share a wedding card featuring Lawn Fawn Tied The Knot stamp set. All the images are so sweet and adorable, my favorite is this bird couple. They are perfect as a wedding cake topper, look so cute..aren't they? I color my images using Distress Markers and blend it with damp brush.

For the background I blend Mermaid and Hippo dye inks, using stencil from Tim Holtz. Then cut the background with my Stitched Rectangle dies.

I also add vellum to toned down the background, make it looks softer. And choose grey cardstock to make thin borders.

I use my Clear Wink of Stella on the banner for extra sparkle, and what is a card without sequins. Heehee. Sequin is really my thing!
