Showing Movement With Stamps!

Hi! Chrissie here today and I want to show a technique I use when I want to show movement when I stamp.  Here is the finished card:

To create that jumping bunny, I used the Happy Easter set from Lawn Fawn.  I first stamped the bunny on a Post It Note and carefully trimmed it out.

After that, I stamped the bunny on white card stock and then placed my mask (the cut-out) over it.

Then, WITHOUT re-inking the stamp, I stamped the bunny to the left and slightly lower than the mask.  The post it hides part of the image, so it looks like this:

And then I repeated the step again, WITHOUT re-inking:

Once I pulled off the mask, it looks like the bunny is hopping!

Fun, right?!?!? I colored in the bunnies using varying shades of grey with my Spectrum Noir markers.  And to create the grass, I also did not re-ink each time.

This way, there are different shades of green in the grass and it looks more realistic.  I used the grass from the Critters on the Savanna set.

To finish off the card, I added some clouds (Bon Voyage) and used a dauber to add some blue ink in the background.  The bow was the finishing touch!

So, what do you think? There are just so many stamps out there that work perfectly with this technique! I hope you'll try it.  And if you do, post the link in the Comments below so we can see your amazing work! Have a great week and don't forget to play along with our current Stitching Challenge!
