BBQ Fun

Hey everyone, Samantha here with a fun BBQ themed card. With summer just around the corner, I just had to create an outdoor grilling scene. The dachshund is the master of the grill and is happily sharing a hot dog with his friend. 

All of the stamped images are layered on top of tonal pattern paper. I wrapped "Peppermint Single Cord" around the top of the card and tied it into a bow for a final touch.

Grandma, I Love You with Karin

Hi Everyone!

It's Karin here to share some inspiration! It is Mother's Day here in Sweden next Sunday, but I know many of you celebrated it a couple of weeks ago. I still thought it was nice to share since these types of cards should be sent all year round (-: .

Instructions:

• Start by making a cardbase from dark red cardstock.
• Cut a stitched rectangle panel and adhere to cardbase.
• Cut a border of flowers from white cardstock and color the flowers. Make sure to use colors that will match the patterned paper you are going to use for the ground.
• Then cut another border of flowers, this time from patterned paper. 
• Trim off the flowers and adhere the paper underneath your colored flowers.
• When the paper is in place diecut the bottom part of the flower panel using the same stitched rectangle as for the white bg panel.
• Adhere your flower hill to your card with foam adhesive.

Lovable legend

Hello.

Its Kate here today and I have a shaped card to share.

This card also fits our Calling all critters challenge sponsored by Ellen Hutson.

There is still plenty of time to join in  :) 

To make my shaped card I first made a white top fold card blank.

Then used the stitched party banners Lawn cuts and placed the largest one on to my card base but with the top edge just over the top of the card. 

I die cut, running through the big shot a few times to get a good cut through both sides of the card base.

I like this shaped card as it still stands nicely.

Using the smaller banner die I cut the patterned panel and added it to the card base.

I've used the Lovable legends stamp set and coloured with my favourite Inktense pencils and a water brush.

To finish I added some twine, clear wink of stella and some enamel dots.
