Ink Smooshing to Create an Ocean Background featuring So Jelly

Distress Ink Smooshing to Create an Ocean Background and Color Lawn Fawn Stamps by Jess Gerstner for Lawnscaping

Hello crafty friends! It's Jess and today I have a card featuring the fun ink smooshing technique. I think it creates a cool background for the animals to 'swim' in but I also used it to color the animals before die cutting them. For more on how I achieved this look check out my video.

As discussed in the video I added some distress ink to a clear block spritzed it with water and smooshed it down to get this watercolor look. I even added some sequins at the end to tie in the Sparkle and Shine from Challenge 109. There are so many great ocean animal sets from Lawn Fawn that would be perfect for this technique.
