Hi there! Laurel here... It's Monday! Which typically aren't my favorite days of the week. BUT, that does mean its time for another Lawnscaping challenge, so I guess it isn't all bad!!
Before we get on to the challenge today, we have some sad news. Jenn Shurkus has made the difficult decision to step down from the design team to pursue other projects! We wish Jenn all the best and have enjoyed having her for the last three years... We expect to see her back here from time to time so this isn't goodybe. It's a see ya later!
Today we are inspired by WATERCOLORS! It is a huge trend right now. There are so many amazing products out there that you can use for watercolors, but I bet you also have something in your stash if you don't have any traditional watercolors... Did you know you can watercolor with most dye inks? You can smoosh some ink onto your craft surface or acrylic block (any slippery surface), spray in some water and watercolor with them? Yup, you can!
The wonderful, fabulous Ellen Hutson! is sponsoring this challenge!!! Certainly you are familiar with her and her store, but if not, a little bit about the store in her own words:
Ellen Hutson, LLC began their adventure in November 2006 as an online web store committed to bringing you the finest paper crafting products and related product education. They are always looking to provide their customers with quality products, excellent customer service, and education and inspiration for the products they carry. You can shop with Ellen by clicking HERE. As well please join them to be inspired and learn some fun techniques in the CLASSroom, or stay up-to-date on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and/orPinterest.
Ellen Hutson will be sponsoring our first challenge of each month! The prize? A $25 gift certificate to the online store! Thank you Ellen!
Please join me in welcoming our May Guest Designer, Sheri Gilson of Paper Crafty's Creations... She has created an adorable birthday card using some watercolor crayons!!! Love the pairing of the stamps with the patterned paper....
And now.... For some DT Inspiration for you! If you click on the name under the image, you will be taken to the individual blogs to find out what watercoloring medium they used...
Laurel (with a how to video up on her blog as well)

• You have until Wednesday, May 13th to submit your entries!
