Hi! Chrissie here today - Happy Monday!!!
I wanted to share how I made a card using Q-Tips to ink up stamps AND how I added embossing powder to embossing paste!
I used the new Penelope's Blossoms and coordinating die cuts.
I used a Q-Tip to ink of the stamp so I could have a variation of colors. I used the light color for the outside and then went in with a darker color for the center of the flower. I love this effect!
Then I grabbed a stencil and used my palette knife to added some embossing paste to it.
Simon Says Stamp has a TON of different pastes. They are seriously fabulous.
Before it was fully dry (I waited about 5 minutes), I dropped some embossing powder onto it and used my heat gun to heat it all up.
It gives a fun effect, especially if you add some ink and do an emboss resist technique (like I did below)!
This technique really adds great texture and makes the card super interesting! I hope you'll give it a try!
Thanks for stopping by!
