for a belated birthday

hello!
it's samantha m here again, and i have a super fun belated birthday card to share!
we've all been there, right? we just know a friend's birthday is coming up, and then all of a sudden it's here, and it's either too late to send a card or, too late all together! as a card maker, i especially hate when i do that!

but i was thinking, the most recent challenge just ended here, and it was all about celebrations and birthdays, wouldn't it be fun to make a belated birthday card now?! lol! 

hang on to your hats people, this post (and card!) is full of cheeky goodness! lol!

so for my card, i used lots of lawn fawn sets! i used year two, year three, on the mend, and bannerific!

i colored the images with copics and then fussy cut them out over and under some layered vellum grass!!
YES! i'm totally digging on vellum recently! and come on, vellum grass is fun! lol!

i LOVE that melting cake on the turtle!! ha ha ha!! see? even he was late, and the cake started to melt! 
what i did, was mask off the bottom of the cake and the top of the heat/ice pack from the turtle image! 

so that's it!
