Foxy Shaker

Good morning!  Jess here with a shaker card for our current Beautiful Florals challenge!  I've been very inspired by all of your floral creations and decided to use one of my new stamp sets for my card!

I am a huge fan of anything fox-related so I was very excited to get the new Mom+Me stamp set!  I stamped the fox mom and baby with copic-friendly ink and colored them with copics.  Then I used Lawn Fawn inks to stamp the tree trunk and flowers.  I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies and then set them aside while I worked on the rest of the card.  I also stamped the sentiment onto pink cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.

Then it was shaker time!!  I blended distress inks onto a piece of white cardstock for my shaker background.  I also stamped a few butterflies using Lawn Fawn inks.  Next I die-cut a stitched A2 rectangle card base and then die-cut a stitched circle for my shaker.  I adhered acetate to the back of my circle and then lined it with foam mounting tape.  Then I filled the shaker with a variety of beads, sequins, and flower confetti before sealing it in with the distress inked background.  Finally I adhered my foxes, the setting, and the sentiment!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fabulous day!
